The Globular Cluster CMA1 head strap fixes Apple Vision Pro’s biggest problem

Apple made the most advanced consumer tech product in history with Vision Pro, but it’s severely compromised by poor weight distribution. With the default Solo Knit Band, I need to tighten it so much it leaves red marks on my face in order to balance the weight. Not very chic! The Dual Loop Band doesn’t fare much better.

I have spent over $100 on third party straps with moderate success. Luckily, Globular Cluster sent me the CMA1 head strap, and it makes a huge difference. It has comfy foam padding, a vertical strap to lift the weight off your face, and most importantly, can be used without the Light Seal for a more immersive experience.

Using Vision Pro with CMA1 sans Light Seal is pretty awesome. The display floats over my eyes without any pressure on my face. The field of view is greatly enlarged, making Vision Pro almost feel like a pair of AR glasses, blurring the lines between physical and digital worlds. Overall, it’s a great way to make your Vision Pro more comfortable (here’s my affiliate link if you want to try it out).

Alternatively, the Air Cover v2 is good but a little harder to find the comfort sweet spot. If you prefer using the Light Seal, I’d recommend the Annapro headstrap.

The new Beautiful Things beta introduces text-to-3D, and it’s awesome! VR has long held the potential for helping us visualize our mind, and this is the closest thing I’ve seen to a 3D printer for our thoughts – a mind printer?!
