Apple Vision Pro's $50 Comfort Fix: Worth It?
Annapro A2 review
Hey everyone, itβs Cosmo.
Vision Pro is amazing, but let's be honest - after a few hours, it feels like you're wearing a brick on your face. After testing countless head straps over the past few weeks, I've got some thoughts on the latest contender: the Annapro A2.
The Quick Take:
- Price: $50 on Indiegogo
- Design: Narrower than gen 1, higher mounting point
- Comfort: Better than stock, but not revolutionary
- Build: Premium memory foam, customizable fit (4 sizes included)
What's New:
The A2 trades its predecessor's wide, leather-like design for a sleeker profile that hugs your head more closely. The memory foam padding feels more premium, and the two-part design offers better adjustability. Installation is a breeze - just slide it onto the EarPods and you're ready to go.
The Reality Check:
I still couldn't wear this without the Light Seal - though you may find different results depending on your head shape. While it's definitely more comfortable than the first gen, it doesn't quite match the overall comfort and confidence I find with the Globular Cluster CMA1 ($70 β affiliate link).
The Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a compact, wallet-friendly comfort upgrade, the AnaPro A2 is a solid choice at $50. But if maximum pressure relief is your priority, spring for the CMA1 - your face will thank you.
